My Client is a leading stable firm in Singapore.
Role Overview
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to drive the development and implementation of automated software and infrastructure delivery across our platforms. This role requires a business-focused, collaborative DevSecOps engineer with excellent communication skills, capable of working closely with developers to implement DevOps principles.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and support agile delivery processes and techniques.
- Collaborate with architects, developers, testers, and operations teams to automate the build, deployment, and release processes for applications both on-premises and in the cloud.
- Develop and implement CI/CD and observability tools, offering guidance on best practices for software deployment and development.
- Assist in designing Microservices using containerization and serverless technologies where appropriate.
- Lead efforts in automating environment management, logging, and monitoring.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with vendors and service providers, influencing products and services to benefit the company, negotiating favorable terms, and optimizing the use of external resources.
- Perform additional duties as needed to support business objectives.
Experience and Competencies
Essential:
- Extensive experience with AWS Cloud services and general DevOps principles.
- Proficiency with platforms such as Windows Server, Amazon Linux, RHEL, and Ubuntu.
- Expertise in at least one programming language, with working knowledge of another: C# (.NET Framework/Core), Python, Java, JavaScript (Node.js), Ruby, or C++.
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages: Python, GO, PowerShell, Bash, or Groovy.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and CloudBees.
- Knowledge of containerization, including Dockerfile creation and container deployment in EKS.
- Strong understanding of pipelines as code.
- Experience with observability tools including OpenSearch, Cribl, Logstash, Kibana, Fluentbit, Grafana, and CloudWatch.
- Proven experience working with agile teams.

- Understanding of market and economic trends.
- Ability to collaborate with stakeholders outside of immediate teams to achieve goals.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organization, and a proactive approach.
- Comfort in fast-paced or high-pressure environments.
