What You'll Do:

  • ETL Development: Create, maintain, and optimize ETL processes using Talend to manage data pipelines from diverse sources including Cloudera, PostgreSQL, and SQL Server.
  • Data Transformation: Extract, clean, and transform raw data to meet organizational standards, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Database Design: Design database tables and constraints based on project needs and support data warehousing efforts.
  • Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and architect solutions using the best methods for retrieval, storage, and processing.
  • Quality Assurance: Assist with troubleshooting data integrity issues, execute improvement plans, and enhance overall ETL processes.
  • Automation: Use Python or scripting languages to automate and optimize ETL workflows.

What We're Looking For:

  • Talend, Python, Spark Expertise: Proven experience using Talend and Python for ETL processes, plus working knowledge of Spark for data transformations.
  • Database & Hadoop Knowledge: Proficiency with databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server) and Hadoop technologies (Hive, Impala, HDFS).
  • Data-Warehousing: Familiar with data modeling and data-warehousing best practices.
  • Visualization & Analytics Tools: A strong understanding of industry-standard tools for data visualization and analytics.
  • Team Player: Great interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in data engineering or related roles.
  • Positive attitude and the ability to adapt to new challenges with enthusiasm.
