Key job responsibilities

The APJ Business Development (BD) Leader is responsible for managing a group of industry specialists that provide subject matter expertise, working across multiple teams and business units.

The APJ BD Leader will earn trust and establish communication lines with District Managers/ Sales Managers to enable the specialists to be success in providing support to industry-aligned accounts.

The APJ BD Leader will work cross functionally with other leaders within the Media & Entertainment, Games, and Sports Business Unit as well as with leaders across the Sales Geo that they support.

The APJ BD Leader will be responsible for pipeline growth, salesforce data hygiene, and reporting for the team. You must have a highly developed ability to present to executive stakeholders while working horizontally to manage multiple stakeholders.

As a Customer Solutions Manager you will take end-to-end ownership of a diverse range of projects and initiatives, utilizing your communication skills to interface with and influence a broad range of multi disciplinary teams (sales, solutions architecture, support, product, professional services, partners). With a deep understanding of your customer's business vision, culture and processes, you will be your customer's voice within AWS, ensuring that their needs are accurately communicated to AWS leadership, product, and engineering teams. You will evangelize AWS services and influence customers to adopt the right solution at the right time.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of managing and developing high performance teams experience
  • 10+ years of driving growth through and with cross-functional teams including inside sales, technical, marketing, segmentation, legal (contracts) experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • 10+ years experience working in the Media & Entertainment industry

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of building and leading large teams and working in matrixed operating structures experience
  • Experience working and communicating with multiple stakeholders, C-level executives and cross functional teams or equivalent
