Position Summary

We are searching for a Singapore based System Administrator who possesses the IT technical support for offices within an assigned regional territory - Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia. The System Administrator will work directly with on-site and remote end users to troubleshoot a wide variety of IT issues, and to take on IT projects within the region. To operate effectively in a matrix environment and have confidence in driving aggressive growth plans. The person should have a consultative and collaborative style, proven track record / achievement. Job Description

  • IT infrastructure support; inclusive of hardware, network, server maintenance support as well as day-to-day IT operations and administration support
  • Facilitate network / server system upgrades and other testing that needs to be completed after normal business hours if needed.
  • Installation of network equipment, servers, monitor network bandwidth and utilization, or perform data cabling management are to be expected
  • Configuring and maintaining the networked computer system, including hardware, system software, and applications.
  • Ensuring data is stored securely and backed up regularly.
  • Diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, networking, and system issues when they arise.
  • Replacing and upgrading defective or outdated components when necessary.
  • Monitoring system performance to ensure everything runs smoothly and securely.
  • Researching and recommending new approaches to improve the networked computer system.
  • Providing technical support when requested.
  • Perform problem/issue identification and resolution; work across multiple teams and vendors to identify the root cause and find suitable workarounds or solutions
  • Develop good configuration best practices and guidelines which employees need to follow to successfully work within our computing system.
  • Ensure current configurations are documented clearly and accurately in Knowledge Base.
  • Assist with the implementation of agreed infrastructure changes, maintenance routines and component updates and upgrades

Experience Required

  • Nitec/Diploma in Computer Science/Information Technology or its equivalent
  • 1-2 years of experience in IT-Infrastructure field Qualification:

Concept on Microsoft Enterprise Product Suite and Active Directory administration is a must

  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows Server, Windows 7 / 8.1 /10 OS, Microsoft Office Products
  • Basic Cisco WAN/LAN Network knowledge and Server skills
  • Ability to solve problem in stressful situations
  • Attention to detail and ability to work as a team
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a passion for helping others
  • Ability to creatively and decisively solve problems
  • Ability to manage workload and multitask in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
  • Willingness to learn new IT technologies
