Application Support Specialist

• Location: Changi Business Park
• Working Hours: 9am - 6pm, Weekends - 24x7 support and candidate needs to be on standby
• Salary up to $6,000

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with the System Administration team for both Non-Production and Production environments.
• Maintain and support the regulatory reporting application for Singapore (SG), Australia (AU), and Taiwan (TW) during business-as-usual (BAU) operations.
• Analyze and address issues and incidents.
• Provide timely updates and keep relevant stakeholders informed of any issues or maintenance activities on the servers.
• Support and apply patches according to the schedule, including: RHEL Upgrades OS Patches, DB Patches, ISCD-Server Hardening, DR Flips, NVA Issues
• Perform common activities such as: New server procurement requests Firewall requests, NVA issues related to application follow-ups and fixes, User Access Management (UAM) including function IDs, security groups creation, Cyber-Ark lodging, and maintenance
• Conduct VM maintenance tasks such as: Adding RAM and CPU, Housekeeping activities, Basic scripting, Key exchanges between servers
• Assist with change management and CR processes.
• Support various project-related activities related to Marketplace, UAMS, Infrastructure, and PCF.

Requirements:

• 5-7+ years of hands-on experience in a production support environment.
• Strong technical skills with a diverse approach and creative solutions to meet global customer needs.
• Proven leadership in end-to-end solutioning within the group.
• Experience deploying applications in a containerized environment using PCF.
• In-depth OS experience (RHEL, Windows Server) with strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with microservice and batch-based technologies, including deployment, monitoring, and operations tools such as Elasticsearch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Strong knowledge of modern development technologies and tools, including Agile, CI/CD, Git, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Experience with MSSQL, Oracle, and/or other big data databases, as well as ETL processes.
• Ability to perform root cause analysis on internal and external data and processes to answer business questions and identify improvement opportunities.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
