Financial Controller

We are looking for a hands-on and reliable Financial Controller who will be responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and finance work of the Group and provide leadership over the finance function.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, direction and management of the finance function, ensuring the preparation of accurate and timely management accounts, and financial reports
• Drive the financial forecasting and budget process and provide oversight over liquidity and capital management for the Group
• Proven ability to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
• Proven experience with cost management / control, working in conjunction with department heads to provide critical assessments of budgets and cost projections
• Provide financial insights and analysis to support strategic decisions by the leadership team
• Support in managing relationships with investors, the board of directors, and executive leadership. Provide transparent financial information and address their concerns.
• Design and implement best practice financial internal controls, policies and procedures
• Advise on long‐term business, financial planning, capital deployment and cash flow planning

Requirements

• Stable career history, with minimum 12 years of strong accounting and finance background, with the ability to handle the full spectrum of finance responsibilities including financial accounting and reporting, treasury, audit and tax
• Well organised with an aptitude for data
• Technology, fintech or financial institutions industry experience preferred
• Hands‐on and able to fit well in an international environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Chartered accountant with Bachelor in Accountancy or equivalent
