Job Title: IT Auditor (Applications Audit)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Auditor to join our client’s audit team. The role will focus on assessing, reviewing, and auditing various business-critical applications, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and identifying areas for improvement. The IT Auditor will be responsible for evaluating the efficiency, security, and control mechanisms within IT applications and systems, with a strong focus on risk management.

up to $11,000 Basic per month + Bonus + Benefits

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and execute IT application audits in accordance with the audit plan.
• Assess the adequacy of application controls, data integrity, security, and operational effectiveness.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify key risk areas, process weaknesses, and control deficiencies.
• Review application security, data confidentiality, and integrity controls to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements (MAS, PDPA).
• Evaluate application change management, user access controls, and segregation of duties.
• Ensure IT applications align with business requirements, operational efficiency, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Identify potential areas of non-compliance and risks associated with application systems.
• Collaborate with the compliance team to monitor changes in regulatory requirements and their implications on IT applications.
• Document audit findings, provide well-structured reports with recommendations for improving controls, risk management, and application processes.
• Present audit outcomes to senior management and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations.
• Work closely with IT teams to facilitate remediation of identified issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, finance, and operations, to provide insights on application control improvements.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and regulatory changes in IT applications and cybersecurity.
• Proactively recommend best practices and enhancements for the application audit process.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on applications audit.
• Experience with ERP systems, CRM platforms, and other enterprise application audits.
• Professional certifications such as CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager), or equivalent would be an added advantage

Key Skills:

• Solid understanding of IT application processes, risks, and controls.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple audits simultaneously.
• Proficiency in using audit tools and data analytics software is an advantage.
