What The Role Is

You manage the daily operations and readiness of the network operations centre.

What You Will Be Working On

On this, you manage several teams in the operations centre, such as recovery teams that respond to network faults. In addition, you work with relevant stakeholders to enhance processes and implement new tools to strengthen the efficiency and effectiveness of the network operations centre. You also provide assistance on the unit’s financial responsibilities and perform relevant financial duties. Your challenge lies in coordinating with multiple internal and external stakeholders to manage the jobs and faults of the IT networks. You also need to continually refine the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the operations centre to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of detection and recovery of network faults. Lastly, you need to possess knowledge of industry enterprise data network operations and best practices, coupled with strong and professional leadership.

What We Are Looking For

You must have a tertiary qualification in Information Technology (IT) or related discipline, preferably with at least 5 years' working experience in IT. Possession of professional IT certification such as CCNP, CCNA and ITIL Certification will be advantageous. Being able to learn quickly and perform under pressure in a dynamic and fast-paced environment is required. Possession of critical thinking, good interpersonal and communication skills is essential. Appointment will be commensurate with your experience.
