For over 70 years, the school has grown into a diverse and dynamic community with 1,600 students from close to 50 different nations. We have nurtured and developed a rich web of alumni globally. Thousands of students and hundreds of staff have been part of our success story. The school is one of the first in Malaysia and earliest in South East Asia and wider afield to be accredited as a British School Overseas (BSO) and is graded as excellent. In addition, Alice Smith is the first school in Malaysia to be accepted as a member of the Independent Association of Preparatory Schools (IAPS) and only the fifth in Asia to meet the exacting entry requirements. The Alice Smith School is an accredited member of COBIS (Council of British International Schools) and is also a member of FOBISIA (Federation of British International Schools in Asia), ISC (Independent Schools Council), EARCOS (East Asia Region Council of Schools), and CIS (Council of International Schools).
