About the Company
On 30th August 2022, Generali Group became the majority shareholder in AXA Affin General Insurance Berhad whilst AFFIN Bank remained as a minority shareholder. The acquisition has positioned Generali as one of the leading players in the Malaysian Insurance market. AXA Affin General Insurance and AXA AFFIN Life will continue to operate under their existing brands until the the single unifying brand “Generali Malaysia” is launched in early 2023.
